Dave has been servicing and repairing Sub-Zero Refrigerators for over 40 years.
We also have a cleaning and yearly service program to keep your Sub-Zero in good working order. We come out and clean the condenser coils twice a year for a nominal fee. The new heavy grills are difficult to remove for cleaning and Dave can make the job so much safer and easy for the home owner. Dave also services the Wolf cooking products by Sub-Zero.
Sub-Zero Refrigerators have an excellent warranty lasting 12 years. They are expensive, however you get what you pay for, because the food stays fresh and it is the only refrigerator that can make that claim. It is accomplished by the two compressor design that makes the refrigerator cold. The tempiture in the fresh food department never gets below 32 degrees cold and therefore keeps the food fresh and not dehydrated like all other refrigerators do. Other refrigerators used sub cooled tempiture as cold as -21 degrees to cool the fresh food compartment sucking all the moisture out of the food and ruining it.
The freezer side of Sub-Zeros, stay at zero degrees at plus or minus 2 or 3 degrees. All other refrigerators have freezer burn and warm tempitures in the freezer, because they mix warm air from the fresh food compartment containing all that moisture.
If you want Gourmet food and cooking Sub-Zero is the only one that will provide it for you.
If you want to service your Sub-Zero yourself, It is recommended that you vacuum the Condenser coils every six months. We provide this service for you at a nominal service fee. Our fee is about half price for this type of service. We also change the filters for you, and only charge extra for the part.
